Dear Falmouth Rugby Family,

I am excited to announce that senior rugby kicks off this Saturday! Our Eagles 1XV will be taking on Wadebridge Camels away in Counties 2, while the Eagles 2XV will also be playing away against St. Agnes in Counties 3. Both matches are set for a 3pm kick-off, and I encourage everyone to show your support!

Looking ahead to September 14th, we have a fantastic day planned with three home games for our seniors during our sponsors day. I am particularly delighted to see our first combined Colts team with Truro RFC stepping onto the field at 10:30 against Camborne Colts. It’s inspiring to witness the next generation coming through, and I’m sure you all share my excitement. In the afternoon, the Eagles 1XV will face St. Just on the Recreation Ground, while the Eagles 2XV will take on Saltash seconds over on Tregenver (pitch 2). Both matches will kick off at 3pm.

Entrance to the first team game will be FREE for our members, while non-members aged over 16 will be charged Β£5 at the gate. Please remember that our grounds operate an ANPR camera parking system, which is FREE for paid members. It allows for one hour on site before any charges apply. If you’re visiting us, please make sure to enter your vehicle registration into the tablet device located in the Clubhouse to avoid fines.

I’m also thrilled to share that our women’s team is going from strength to strength as they enter their second season in the Allianz Inner Warrior League. Their first game will be at home on Sunday, September 29th, against St. Austell (kick-off time TBC).
Additionally, our mixed non-contact Touch Rugby side, the Raptors, will be tapping off this Saturday away to Truro at 1:00 PM.
I wish all our players the very best for the season ahead!

As ever,
John
